About Apex Landscape Solutions
Apex Landscape Solutions, LLC creates award-winning outdoor design and landscape solutions.
Jason Cornell founded Apex because he had a vision for creating outdoor spaces that work. After working in the industry for 25 years, Jason has come to see yards as an extension of our living spaces and believes they should function as well as any living room or kitchen. That means they’re beautifully designed, structurally sound and expertly installed. He thinks each project should last a lifetime and require little maintenance. The best projects become self-sustaining over time.
Apex works with you personally to create your dream outdoor space, and designs and builds it to be an ecologically functional system that’s good for your family, your neighbors and your community. Good outdoor designs benefit everybody.
Our mission is to create gorgeous and highly functional landscapes that serve the customer, the community and the environment.
We do this in three ways
Experience
As a team, we have a combined total of 50 years of professional landscape experience. We’ve completed installations for customers throughout the South Sound region, solving tough drainage problems, tackling wetland mitigation, designing and building full decks and much more.
Education
Jason is ECOpro certified and holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental horticulture from Washington State University, where he also minored in landscape architecture. He went on to earn a master’s degree in environmental studies from The Evergreen State College. Jason is the lead on every project and ensures that Apex employees share our vision and expertise as a team.
At Apex, we’re passionate about spreading the good word through our work. We believe knowledge is only valuable if it’s shared, so we teach our clients and the general public about sustainable landscape practices to help outdoor spaces stay beautiful and viable for years and years to come.
Environment
We’re committed to protecting the environment and limiting our impact on the earth. We use only commercial-grade electric tools and almost completely avoid the use of oil on all of our projects.
We have a deep knowledge of soil and plant health and avoid the use of synthetic products in the soil. Why? Because sustainable practices make a positive difference not only in individual landscapes, but in our wider community and our environment.
